FALMOUTH cricket club is set to hold a very special match to honour their president’s 60-year association with the club.
Tom Meneer, 91, has held numerous roles in the club and is currently an honorary life member as well as president.
The left-handed batsman has also looked after the pitch for 21 years and is honoured the club is putting on a special match for him.
He said: “Falmouth Cricket Club is a lovely club, with friendly people who spend hours looking after it and helping out. It is a very good club.””
