SCHOLES Cricket Club have offered their thanks to the local community after the reopening of their new pavilion, which had been devastated by fire a year ago.
A blaze swept through the Yorkshire-based club’s pavilion in the early hours of August 17, last year, leaving them without a home.
But clubmates were determined to keep the club alive and set up a crowdfunding page in order to raise enough money to rebuild their home and maintain the club’s existence.
