SUNBURY bowler Kevin Smith started his season by taking four wickets against Reigate to earn selection for a Surrey Championship XI – this weekend he topped that and then some by taking 9-8!
That match at the Oval takes place next Thursday, when Smith and co will face an Australian Indigenous XI, and the bowler could not be in better form heading into the game.
After Sunbury had battled their way to 226 all out on Saturday on a tricky wicket at East Molesey, Smith proceeded to rip through the home batting line-up.
