WOLLASTON captain Chris Perry’s bowling set up a dramatic end to the game against Rushden Town as they earned their very first win of the season.
Rushden were sitting pretty on 107-2 before Perry stepped up to take 6-19 and leave Wollaston with a target of 160 to win.
At 134-9 they looked to be heading toward another defeat, but a tenthwicket stand of 28 from Praveen Chandran (36no) and No.11 Joshua Steggles (11no) saw them home by one wicket.
