White stuff: Rob White batting in his Northants days

FORMER Northants allrounder Rob White proved he’s still got what it takes despite strolling into the autumn of his playing career with Old Northamptonians.
The 38-year-old notched 81 and took 4-43 as the leaders beat second-placed Finedon Dolben by two wickets in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
White now has the second most runs in the league this season, 227 in four games at 56.75, and credits his undying love of the game for his ability to keep providing with the bat.
