ENGLISH leg-spinners are scarce as hen’s teeth but veteran David Lucas reckons Radcliffe-on-Trent ripper Connor Marshall can reach the top.
The 20-year-old twirler spent three weeks at a spinners’ camp in Mumbai over the winter and is a feature in the Nottinghamshire Second XI.
Lucas made up for Marshall’s absence with a side strain, taking 6-29 in Radcliffe’s 66-run Nottinghamshire Premier League win over Caythorpe, but hails him as a top talent.
