Norwich stop the rot as Ashley aims high

A WEIGHT has been lifted off the shoulders of the Norwich players, according to captain Ashley Watson, after they secured an overdue first win of the season.
The seven-wicket victory away at fellow strugglers Bury St Edmunds lifted them off the basement of the East Anglian Premier League, with the hosts replacing them at the bottom of the division.
Watson’s decision to bowl first paid off as they reduced the opposition to 128 all out, with Dominic Mirner the pick of the bowlers with 3-37, before knocking off the runs with the help of an unbeaten 68 from Jack Newby.
