THE right numbers have come up for Swardeston stalwart Paul Lambert – he’s achieved his childhood dream of reaching 10,000 runs for the club.
As a youngster, Lambert watched father Neil collect a trophy and lap up the admiration of Belton Cricket Club when he reached the same mark.
The 28-year-old brought up five figures with an undefeated 44 against Great Witchingham on Sunday – so there was no doubt whose number he’d call soon after.
