NORTH DEVON wicketkeeper Ed Yeo is enjoying his new life at the top of the order after a century against Sidmouth.
His 123 off 111 balls saw North Devon set a target of 319, which Sidmouth – who were sitting pretty at the top of the Devon Premier Division – failed to reach by 190 runs.
And after a successful move up the order, Yeo said: “I’ve started opening, which to me is a lot easier than batting at six, seven or eight, just because you’ve got a new ball coming on to the bat and you can only have two fielders out.
