LIAM Lewis managed to outscore a former Pakistani Test batsman in the shape of Faisal Iqbal but all that mattered for him was that Heathcoat got the better of Sandford.
Lewis scored an unbeaten 115 to help Heathcoat – who have never won the Devon Premier League – up to second in the table, while Sandford stay bottom.
Faisal himself hit 71 not out, but Lewis claimed the thought of outscoring the Pakistani did not cross his mind whilst at the crease.
