LOUGHBOROUGH Town sent records tumbling last Saturday when three batsmen struck centuries in a 161-run victory over Market Harborough.
Losing only the wicket of captain Anish Patel for 119, Leicestershire’s Tom Wells top scored with an impressive 163 not out to set a new club and Leicestershire Premier Division record of 410 runs scored.
With the help of Ashish Trusz’s quickfire 101 from just 51 balls, Loughborough easily surpassed the previous record of 395 set by Kibworth two weeks previously.
