WITH the scores level, second and third placed North Wales Premier Division sides Brymbo and St Asaph were locked in the ultimate winner takes all clash.
Needing a single to win with one ball left and a one wicket remaining – the odds were firmly stacked in St Asaph’s favour, but up stepped Daniel Parry to trap Elliott Morris leg before and earn an unlikely tie for Brymbo.
Yet despite the incredible feat, Brymbo captain James Claybrook admitted to feeling downhearted with the result, understandably so given the impact it had on their title chances.
