DEC Redwood, the Purnell bowler who threw the ball over the boundary to prevent a Minehead batsman from scoring a century, has expressed deep regret at his actions.
The Somerset Cricket League slapped a nine-match ban on Redwood, who hurled the ball to the boundary to end the Division Two match and leave Jay Durrell stranded two short of a maiden ton.
