No messing: Robbie Jones smashed a quickfire century for Menai Bridge
WITH 142 off 108 balls, including 19 fours and six sixes, at a glance you would think that Aaron Finch had turned out for North Wales Premier Division side Menai Bridge.
But it was 35-year-old club stalwart Robbie Jones, who surpassed 7,000 career runs on his way to ensuring a 114-run victory over Chirk.
And despite not getting off the mark from his opening 19 balls, Jones went on to smash 112 from boundaries alone to further Menai’s advantage at the top of the table.
