THE seven-year itch is over for Finedon Dolben after they claimed the Northamptonshire Premier Division title for the first time since 2011.
A consistent season meant Dolben headed into their final fixture against Brigstock last weekend requiring just two points to secure the title.
And the crown came home for the Northamptonshire club on their own terms as captain Callum Berrill made an unbeaten 47, ably supported by Drew Brierley (51) and Tom Sole (24no), reaching the 150 or more required to gain the necessary two points.
