Marske CC pay tribute to The Notcher with new scorebox

MARSKE Cricket Club marked last Saturday’s opening fixture of the new North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier Division with the grand unveiling of a new electronic scorebox, in honour of the late David Beach.
Beach, known as ‘The Notcher’, was scorer at the club for more than 50 years and covered nearly 1,500 first XI matches, having recorded runs and wickets at Windy Hill Lane since 1959.
