MATT Machan is hoping that his wicked whispers keep bearing fruit after his Brighton and Hove side notched their first win of the season in swashbuckling style.
The Sussex Premier Division side racked up a 291-run victory over Eastbourne, with Machan the star with both bat and ball, totting 138 not out before swiftly notchingbowling figures of 5-12 as they held their opponents to just 22.
