PLYMPTON captain Alex Carr was a happy man despite his side’s loss Hatherleigh – especially as none of his team got banned.
Justin Wubbeling marked a return to the field after a two-match playing ban for abusive language, with a topscore of 92, including four sixes and nine fours.
In the end, Plympton scored 228-8 but it wasn’t enough as Hatherleigh, who are promotion-chasers in Devon’s A Division, secured victory with 13 balls to spare thanks in part to Zimbabwean international Tino Mutombodzi’s knock of 75 off 61 balls.
