Handling the pressure: Alex Blake raced to a century for Beckenham

CHASING 250 runs can be a challenging task in one-day club cricket – but it certainly becomes a lot easier when you have Kent’s Alex Blake at the helm.
The 30-year-old, who signed a contract extension to stay with his home county until the end of the 2020 season last year, hit 142no to single-handedly steer Beckenham (258-7) to a threewicket victory over Bickley Park (255) on Saturday.
