WHEN Kimberley Institute skipper George Bacon went for a golden duck against Cuckney last Saturday, the next man in was on the verge of sparking a domestic row.
But No.3 Tom Rowe stepped into the breach valiantly, notching his first century of the season to steer Timely ton: Tom Rowe the Institute to a winning draw against their traditional Nottinghamshire Premier League title challengers.
In the end, then, all was well in the Rowe-Bacon household, thankfully for the neighbours.
