GREATER strength in depth fuelled Bangor’s North Wales Premier League triumph this season, says club veteran and captain Gareth Edwards.
Edwards, who assumed a new leadership role this year despite not captaining his team since 1999, heaped praise on his diverse group of players, who secured the title with a dominant nine-wicket win at Pontblyddyn last weekend.
And for Edwards – who is celebrating his 25th year at the club – it was the perfect homecoming.
