Female umps set to make history Samit the saviour

ANNA Harris and Yvonne Dolphin-Cooper were due to create history yesterday as the first all-female umpiring crew in an ECB Premier League match.
 The duo were scheduled to officiate Downend’s West of England Premier League clash against Bedminster, in what is be lieved to be a league first. Gloucestershire County Cricket Board hoped the two appointments would “encourage even more women to consider officiating at all levels of the sport”.
Both women umpired in last year’s inaugural Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
