A SWANSEA cricket club is faced with yet more repair costs after vandals used scissors to cut covers laid on the square.
Pontardawe Cricket Club has been the victim of a series of episodes in the last year, with a pavilion skylight broken and holes burned through the club’s mobile net in recent times.
On this occasion, vandals destroyed the covers and also dug a hole in the wicket.
South Wales Police said it was investigating and confirmed it had been notified of the latest incidents at the club.
