NEWCASTLE United’s Sean Longstaff is well known as a star footballer, following some impressive Premier League displays in recent years.
But what is less known, is that the dual-talented midfielder is also a handy bowler at his local cricket club, Tynemouth, starting the 2021 season in fine form.
The 23-year-old comes from a sporting family. Brother Matty has also become part of the first team squad at Newcastle United, while father David represented GB over 100 times at ice hockey.
