FORMER Essex all-rounder Ashar Zaidi has continued his fine start to the season for table-topping Norden in the Lancashire League.
In his side’s six-wicket victory win over Walsden, Zaidi hit an unbeaten 88.
This was after earlier taking 4-43, with Zaidi the league’s highest wicket-taker so far this season.
The Pakistani-born player also has firstclass experience for Sussex, before spending three years at Chelmsford.
