HISTORY was made in the Surrey Championship as trailblazer Matilda Callaghan became the first ever woman to play at the county’s highest club level.
The incoming head of cricket at New Hall School, 23, marked her momentous Premier Division debut for Cranleigh by claiming 1-22 from six overs to help the side she joined this year thrash Normandy by 105 runs on June 19.
