ASHAR Zaidi celebrated passing 1,000 runs for Norden by leading his side to a two-run win against Rochdale.
The all-rounder went into the weekend as the club’s leading batsman with 1,125 runs whilst also leading the bowling rankings with 57 wickets.
He took this good form into Norden’s clash against Rochdale, chipping in with 37 having already taken 6-35.
Norden signed Zaidi in October last year, and the former Essex and Sussex star has shown his class all season, by keeping it simple.
