Stepping it up: Lordswood’s Bailey Wightman got the call from Kent

ON SATURDAY, Bailey Wightman was playing for Tunbridge Wells in their Kent Cricket League game against Lordswood.
Two days later, and he was making his first class senior debut for Kent in their County Championship clash against Sussex at Canterbury.
Due to a number of positive COVID-19 tests, a host of Kent first-teamers were forced into isolation, leading to a raft of debutants.
And the 22-year-old admits it was bit of a whirlwind experience.
