Up and away: The hot air balloon which halted play at Star CC, Bath

THE Star Cricket Club in Bath welcomed unexpected spectators last weekend following a rare case of ‘hot air balloon stopped play’.
The hosts were batting against West United during the second innings of their North Somerset Cricket League Sunday Division 2 clash when the Brownsword Ground outfield became a temporary landing pad, causing a bizarre delay to proceedings.
