BILTON in Ainsty’s Nick Briggs has bagged over 2000 wickets in his cricket career to become a legend of the recreational game.
Briggs recorded his 2000th wicket during the Grey Fox Trophy game at Woodhouse Grange for his home club Bilton in Ainsty last month — the same day England were beaten by Italy in the final of the Euros.
