LONGRIDGE bowler Jake Durnell put in the performance of his life last weekend — only for rain to prevent the match being completed.
Durnell took a career-best 6-12 as Longridge bowled out Lancaster for 71, but poor weather cut the game short. “The performance was good as we put pressure on the batsmen at all times,” said Durnell. “We bowled in the right areas and we were patient when bowling.
