CLUB captain Darren Shaw was on cloud nine after Kibworth toasted the end of the Leicestershire and Rutland cricket season with a league title.
Heading into the final day of league action, Kibworth knew a win over Leicester Ivanhoe would secure them the title, af-ter they missed their opportunity a week prior following a loss to Sileby Town.
Centurion batsmen Matt Craven and Aadil Ali starred for Shaw’s side, scoring a combined 292 runs from just 216 deliveries, helping Kibworth romp home to a 262-run win to hand them the spoils on the final day.
