HOBART Hurricanes left-hander Caleb Jewell has announced himself in the Yorkshire Premier League South, carrying his bat for 117 in a losing cause in Doncaster Town’s defeat to Sheffield Collegiate.
The Tasmanian hit six sixes and six fours in his 121-ball stay at the crease as Doncaster reached 178-6 from their allotted 38 overs. Only three other batters reached double figures, Jaden Fell’s 23 being the only other notable contribution, as Doncaster were kept in check by former Worcestershire left-arm spinner Shaaiq Choudhry who took 4-44.
