DEFENDING champions Shrewsbury School cruised into the second round of the Cricket Paper U17 National Cricket Cup with a convincing win over Wrekin College.
Chasing 101 to win, Shrewsbury raced to their target, passing Wrekin’s total without loss in 7.1 overs. Theo Wylie was the chief destroyer for Shrewsbury, smashing 64 not out after taking 2-16 with the ball earlier in the day.
