THE TWO young students who died during the knife attacks in Nottingham in the early hours of Tuesday both had cricketing backgrounds.
Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, both 19, were found stabbed to death on Ilkeston Road to the west of the city centre, while 65-year-old Ian Coates was also killed.
Webber was a cricketer for Bishops Hull CC in Taunton, Somerset, who described him as a “dear friend”, adding: “He was a “key part of our club who made such an impact in such a short space of time.
