Dikshanshu Negi, a Ranji Trophy player for Uttarakhand in India, is the overseas for Sandford Cricket Club in Devon – and is having a great time in the south west this summer.
Sandford have won their last four matches in the Devon Premier League, with Negi playing a key role. Their most recent victory came against North Devon at Sandford’s home ground Creedy Park. North Devon were skittled for 162, with Negi taking 6-24 from his nine overs, leaving Jack Moore, North Devon’s No.4 batter stranded on 72 not out.
