Wistaston Village’s Matt Baty had a less than ideal day out when his side took on Burton in the third division of the Cheshire League.
To start a rather forgettable day, Baty turned up at the wrong ground, twice in fact, driving the 76 miles to Burton-on-Trent, in Staffordshire, before realising his error.
He eventually arrived at the correct ground 30 overs into Burton’s innings and was not allowed to bowl as a result.
In reply, Baty came in to bat at number nine, added just four runs before the game was rained off with 20.4 overs remaining.
