Standout: Alexei Kervezee starred with the bat for Halesowen
HALESOWEN’S match with Kidderminster was the only game in the Birmingham & District Premier League to survive the weather last weekend as Halesowen came out on top by six wickets.
After losing the toss and being inserted, Kidderminster were bowled out for 150 in 36 overs. Only two Kidderminster batters reached double figures, captain Neil Pinner leading from the front with an 84-ball 97 and Zeshan Bashir who made 17.
