TWENTY-TWO years after facing up to the likes of Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne and Brett Lee in an Ashes series, veteran left-hander Usman Afzaal is still making runs for Grantham in the Lincolnshire Premier League.
Now 46, the ex-England international hit an unbeaten 51 last Saturday as Grantham defeated Spalding by 121 runs.
Afzaal has made 12 league appearances for Grantham this season but has batted just six times, coming in down the order as an experienced head should he be needed.
