Woodlands evade the rain again to go 44 points clear

LEAGUE LEADERS and defending champions Woodlands once again managed to escape the rain and get a win on the board as many around them had their matches abandoned – going a handsome 44 points clear at the top of the Bradford Premier League table in the process.
Bowling first, they rolled Bradford & Bingley for 80 thanks to captain Brad Schmulian (5-23) and Thomas Clee (4-24) sharing nine wickets between them.
Chasing a revised target of 77, Woodlands knocked off the runs in 4.5 overs as Muhammad Bilal launched six sixes in a 17-ball onslaught of 60 not out....
