Champions: Wimbledon celebrate their national T20 victory

WIMBLEDON were crowned national club T20 champions after defeating Sandiacre Town by 15 runs in an attritional final at The County Ground, Derby.
Sandiacre Town won the toss and elected to bowl first but struggled to make early inroads as Nicholas Welch (38) and skipper Jonathan Webb (29) put on 64 for the first wicket, including being 52-0 at the end of the powerplay.
Wimbledon never truly got away from them though thanks to tight bowling from James Lawton (1-21) and Daniel Wheeldon (1-25) in particular.
