THERE WERE wins for Wimborne, Dorchester, and Bere Regis as the Dorset League played its first-ever matches as an ECB Premier League.
The league’s status was announced last year, with the decision focused around stopping Dorset’s best cricketers moving to the Hampshire and Southern Leagues, with a long-term goal of the county team having more players picked from the Dorset League.
