12 wickets fall for 45 runs in Liverpool

THE BALL very much dominated the bat in Wallasey’s Liverpool and District League match with New Brighton as 12 wickets fell for just 45 runs.
New Brighton were bowled out for 22 and Wallasey chased down their target for the loss of two wickets during a hectic 23.3 overs of cricket.
Sumit Ruikar took 5-7 and Matthew Keogh 5-14 as Wallasey ripped through the New Brighton batting lineup. No New Brighton player made double figures as number nine batter Oliver Griffiths top scored with just six.
