A mountain to climb: lugging the pitches through the Lake District

ENGLAND’S HIGHEST cricket match has been played on top of a mountain in the Lake District, raising over £16,000 for charity.
Henley Cricket Club set up the fixture against a mixed team of local players on May 22, aiming to raise money for research into Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease, an inherited condition affecting one of their teammates that causes nerve damage, leading to muscle weakness.
