Gayle scores ton in Rochdale charity match

WEST INDIES legend Chris Gayle scored a century in a charity match for his own foundation (the Chris Gayle Foundation) at Ladyhouse in Rochdale last week.
Gayle, now 44, retired on 102 from 38 balls for the Chris Gayle XI against a Milnrow CC XI in a match held as part of a fundraising day, which included a Q&A, a dinner, a youth T10 tournament, and a live reggae band.
Gayle was dismissed well caught at backward point early in the piece, only for the delivery to be called a no-ball by the standing umpire.
