NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SKIPPER and former England opener Haseeb Hameed was in action again for Littleborough in the Lancashire League, taking wickets and scoring runs as his side enjoyed two wins last weekend.
On Saturday he starred with the ball, taking 4-54 with his off-spin as Littleborough bowled out Enfield for 152 to defend 224-9, before scoring 63 on Sunday against Church & Oswaldtwistle to help chase down a target of 164.
In five league appearances this season, Hameed has scored 285 runs at an average of 71.25 with a top score of 125 not out against Burnley.
