Hartlepool end two-year win drought

HARTLEPOOL FOURTH XI won their first game in almost exactly two years when they defeated Bishop Auckland third XI by 31 runs in the Sunday Conference of the North Yorkshire & South Durham League.
They defended a total of 130-7, Toby Allen taking 4-40 and Zac Bedding 3-10 as they bowled out Bishop Auckland for 99.
The majority of the Hartlepool side were junior players, with nine players, including Allen and Bedding, eligible to play under-15s.
