MATTHEW MCKIERNAN had an all-round game to remember as he helped Leigh tie Ormskirk and knock them off the top of the table in the process.
The ex Derbyshire man scored an unbeaten 90 from 82 balls in Leigh’s total of 154 before taking 5-24 with his leg-spin, including the final wicket, to snatch a tie from the jaws of defeat.
Adam Shallcross also took 4-41 as Ormskirk collapsed from 118-3 to 154 all out.
