AFTER TRYING to launch careers in media and politics with mixed degrees of success, the one thing we should all associate Monty Panesar with is cricket.
A veteran of 50 Tests for England, the left-arm spinner, now 42, is still turning his arm over for Great Witchingham in the East Anglian Premier League.
In eight league matches, Panesar has taken 12 wickets this season at an average of 23.33 with best figures of 3-29 against Mildenhall.
