REIGNING CHAMPIONS Woodlands are top of the Bradford Premier League after defeating Bradford & Bingley on a day that saw former leaders Jer Lane lose.
Woodlands toppled Bingley by 54 runs, defending a total of 334-6 that saw opener Tim Jackson hit an unbeaten 107. Skipper Brad Schmulian followed up a 49-ball 61 with 6-85 with his leg-spin as Bingley made 280-9 in their 50 overs.
Jer Lane went down to third place New Farnley by five runs. They were bowled out for 208 in pursuit of 214 to win, former Durham seamer Usman Arshad taking 3-49.
